Psychiatrie
I’ve been playing the guitar for many years now – unfortunately, I’ve never made it past a certain level, mainly due to lack of practice. I’ve been most active during my last years at school, where my friends Andreas Pätzold, Henning Gerdes, and others, joined with me to form Psychiatrie. We played lots of covers and some original songs, for most of which I’m responsible as a songwriter. We also went to a lot of band contests and always lost, had a couple of gigs in community centers and such, recorded an amateur album with the help of Thomas Germer, and eventually disbanded. Such is the way of student bands – but we’ve always had a blast.
